The firmware uses only stock Linux software raid and filesystems. So in Debian it's a matter of the rigjht configuration to get the disks assembled and mounted.Entware-ng runs next to the firmwa…2 -

I know of two options. You can install Debian on that NAS, with a newer smbd. More info here. Or you can install the Entware-ng smbd as drop-in replacement of the firmware smbd. More info on http://z…2
