I'm quite certain there's no vpn on the chromebooks.

You need to install the datecode firmware patch from here. https://community.zyxel.com/en/discussion/22863/zld-v5-38wk20-firmware-release Hopefully, it goes from datecode to production very soon.

Do you have a zyxel poe switch that supports Ethernet Neighbor ? Looks like that's the only way to do it. https://support.zyxel.eu/hc/en-us/articles/4423468211090-Access-Points-NWA-WAX-Reset-Button-and-Device-Reset#01H7FKP1YAWZ9BB6KWFMXJQSMP Otherwise, just contact Zyxel support, I expect they'll need the serial number and…

Yes, see the discussion here. https://community.zyxel.com/en/discussion/22290/content-filter-on-atp800-not-working This has to do with an update for Chrome and Edge, Edge must not have updated or it wouldn't work either. There's a datecode patch for it for the newer routers. Unfortunately, Zyxel hasn't released an update…

I don't see the new firmware upgrade option show up in the router yet. Is there a place to manually download it?
-
Any news on when a firmware update will be available?
-
No, you'll have to build it from scratch. If it's a more complex config, download the backup startup-config from the 110 and open it and you can use the CLI in the new router and copy and paste sections from the config file, eg address objects to the new router.
-
If the config is not to complex, I'd just rebuild it from scratch. If it's more complex we've had good success using the CLI and restoring parts of the backup file, eg add address-object section in the CLI. Then if it goes without errors, do the next section. If you get an error, you'll have to figure out what it didn't…

There's a conversion utility here https://convert.cloud.zyxel.com but it doesn't like it supports those models.

Setup a DNS filter policy as well, like this. The Zywall DNS policy needs to be separate from the Filtered DNS policy.
-
Add *nortonrosefullbright.com to Trusted Whitelist and make sure under the Profile Management> Custom Service, you have Enable Custom Service selected and Check common Trusted / Forbidden list.

We sent a request into Zyxel to have HQ look into this. The content filter policies and DNS content are no longer working. This is a significant problem and hopefully a router firmware patch can be released quickly.

We found the same problem on the Zyxel USG310 and USG Flex 50 routers. I didn't test any other models yet, these are the ones that we had reports that the content filter isn't working on. I'm guessing we have over a 100 routers with content filter subscription on them. So we need an update to fix this as trying to disable…
