Re: NWA90AX-PRO: Cannot access local management configuration wizard
Hi @xunil76,
Glad to hear that you got help remove the device from the previous Nebula account, and can now access the configuration wizard to get your AP up and running. While it's difficult for us to guarantee the exact condition of every device purchased through third-party channels, we have designed several options for users to independently restore devices to their initial state or transfer them to their own Nebula organization.
For others who might encounter the same issue, here's how to fully transfer ownership of your Zyxel device and remove it from Nebula Control Center management by yourself:
- Scan the QR Code on the Device Sticker: Use the Nebula mobile app to scan the QR code on your device's sticker. This will initiate the ownership transfer to your account.
- Remove the Device from Nebula: Please refer to this FAQ.
If you have concerns about the condition of a product you've received, we recommend contacting the original seller or retailer, as they are best positioned to address issues related to product condition, returns, or exchanges.
For product functionality issues or device registration problems that cannot be resolved through the retailer, please feel free to reach out to us here in the Zyxel Community. We'll do our best to provide the support you need.
Re: NWA90AX-PRO: Cannot access local management configuration wizard
Best guest is it was a return but was said to not have been used or opened which clearly was a lie.
There really needs to be a way to deregister the device when you have the device in your hands should this happen. It would also help if on a reset you say default configure local only because what if the management VLAN not had been untag when it downloads the config from nebula?
Hope you get this resolved.
I think I said this before but the way I would do the deregister is first a reset that puts the device in local mode deregister option then the UI loads and should normally see not registered if new but if used you click on a link from the UI to load a page which you need to enter a code then nebula will connect to the device under a connection by nebula with a pop up box do you want to deregister.
Re: SecuExtender IPSec Windows VPN client suddently will not connect
Hi @OWB,
To further investigate this issue, we would need to access the device directly.
Please kindly follow the steps in the FAQ below to temporarily allow HTTPS Web GUI access from the WAN side on your VPN100:
Additionally, please send the access details to us via private message so we can proceed with the remote inspection.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Re: Random latency handling delays on FLEX H at low bandwidth
Hi @PeterUK
Yes, our team replicate this issue, and we are under investigation. I will keep you posted once I get further information.
Re: Feature Request: Immediate DHCP Renewal for IP Passthrough Mode
Here is a Wireshark of what goes on
Note time drift by PC vs VPN300
at 00:13:20 was the last packet on the old IP from EE
from nebula I ping to my VM to see new IP which the FWA510 has the new IP its side
at 00:51:55 I start see traffic from new IP due to DHCP renew which the FWA510 sets at 1 hour meaning a long down time wait which is why it needs to be less
at 00:57:52 is when DDNS updates the new IP to allow the tunnel
Re: Detected nearby AP's list with signal strength
Hi @Pbee
Thanks for the confirmation. This idea has been raised to our product team and we will monitor the comments and votes to evaluate it.
Re: FWA 501 high power consumption
Hi @mike79
Please note that the maximum power consumption for FWA 510 is 48W. In this condition, it consumes up to 1.152 kWh per day. It seems like the power consumption when you are not there is about 1/5 of the maximum power consumption.
To lower the daily power consumption, you may try:
- Turn off the WiFi function.
Communicating with Nebula will not take extra power, since the connection check and data collation are not complex tasks.
