(2). Did you try to use another port (not TCP 51200 ) to backup files to NAS? Is it working for you?

The standard port of the Program is not the TCP 51200 but the TCP 6281

The TCP 51200 is the port indicated by Zyxel Support which would appear to affect the Backup Program traffic when installing the USG FLEX 100

There is no reference about that in Synology

There is no reference with USG 40

On wednesday I will change the default TCP 6182 and made a check.

I can't do that before.

(3). What is the "Synology Backup Program"? Where did you execute this program in your topology? From the internet? or LAN domain?

The Program is "Hyper Backup" and I execute that from Internet.
Is a Backup from remote site to internal network.

(4). What is your MTU size of USG40 and USG Flex100? Are they the same?

I can't check the USG FLEX 100 at the moment but I think it is 1500 (for sure in the USG 40 - WAN Port)

my geo fences are #1 and #2 rule. However, embarrassed to report that I just found out that the GEO block "to Zywall" was set to allow.... So, my fault.

Update: The issue was with my router. For some reason it has to have an untagged interface if using tagged interfaces. So I just chose one to be the untagged and PVID VLAN.

And I don't use any trunk interfaces presently. I had tested both, and it had no affect on the issue I had.

The way Rodukas explained this is a bit confusing . But, what is meant by "outside" the ceiling means attached it on the ceiling like a smoke detector (on the sheet rock). Not under the sheet rock or ceiling tiles, so it is not visible when you look up. In large office building, some requirements might be to place the AP under a ceiling tile (foam board) because there is not sheet rock, like in a house where you can attach it with screws. I hope this helps.

USG60W won't have upgrade to ZLD 5.x And is going EOS 31/12/2022 (after customer riot for trying the cutout at 30/06/2022).

I think that zyxel might like your cash for Nebula-capable devices. New. And freshly released.

What's the FW version?
Do you mean you need VMG8324-B10A to assign IP for LAN devices? (your clients will get IP as 192.168.1.X)
VMG8324-B10A can get internet from WAN port and provide it to your device with LAN 1-LAN 4.

When I remember well ZyXEL uses some opensource incremental backup program to do the backups. When googling the extension you might find software which can extract it.
