USG Flex 200 can be part of a VPN tunnel connection as an endpoint device, but will never be a VPN client per se. When you draw a diagram of a VPN connection, you could in theory infer that all the devices on a subnet belonging to the USG Flex 200 are the clients, but it is rarely viewed as such in practice.

A true VPN client would be the SecuExtender VPN Client (https://www.zyxel.com/global/en/products/endpoint-and-connectivity/ipsec-and-ssl-vpn-client-secuextender-vpn-client ).

Thanks, I played with that too.

I can add to forum users that you have to select the routing policies for telling firewall (nebula or not) that a specific IP has to go to internet via a specific WAN.

The most important thing is the order (priority column, first one on the left) you use to route packets.

If you need a specific IP via a specific WAN, the rule has to be like:

Source -> My_IP

Destination -> Any

Service -> Any

Next-Hop -> WAN1

Please consider that My_IP is a value (or an object) described with your specific IP that you need that goes via WAN1.

WAN1 is an example of WAN you have onboard, anyway its value is related to the WAN you want that My_IP has to go through.

The principle of operation (what I wrote above, aka the priority column) is that the firewall has to pickup packets in the order you need following the rules it reads in routing policies.

Since the reboot happens with a SIM inserted then I can only think that it is related to when it tries to activate the PDP context on the APN.

Do you have a SIM card that only supports 3G and 4G to see if it is related to the connection to 5G WWAN only or not?

These are just some thoughts from someone who is a Zyxel user.

Thank you for your suggestion, I am afraid that did not solve the problem. I now have only ipv4, with a manual apn, but the problem still exists.
