@Zyxel_Support Thanks. So if you don't link to a MyZyxelcloud account you can only managed Multy from that device. If say you lose that device or upgrade to a new device, you will be locked out until you factory reset Multy and redo setup? @pancho35m The facebook/google sign in are optional ways to sign in to the…

@Zyxel_Support My concern isn't the Android version, but the Bluetooth and dual-band radio. I think a lot of people are not going to know what version of Bluetooth their phone supports. That's why a list of popular models that are compatible would be helpful.

@Zyxel_Support Good news, thanks!

It is just like NAS right, we can't test every possible model of HDD out there, but we should at least indicate which of the best selling models should be compatible based on specs. Which iPhone models work? Which Samsung models work? Does an S6 work? S5? S4?

@Zyxel_Support I really don't want to have to factory reset all my units. I have retested with the B9 firmware and see the same issue. The 13 devices are connected, but are not in active use. (No one is using them, little or no traffic is seen on the Multy X app status page)

Test ran just now, showing only a failure on the link between the router and extender. Internet test was successful this time.
-
Test I conducted last week that shows the speed test failure between both Internet and Bedroom (router).

@pancho35m - This is Multy X. We will be selling singles for expansion. It works in a star topology, not true mesh. @Zyxel_Support @Zyxel_Admin I have 3 Multy X units. The first unit (Bedroom) is connected to a cable modem which provided 100Mbps downstream. I then have the other 2 units connected wirelessly to the main…

For comparison, Netgear's Orbi supports this.

>You can check this discussion about the title of Parental Control in the future version. This doesn't address my request. Let me be more clear. I'm not talking about changing the name of the top of the screen, but the naming after you click on a device. "Join Group" gives no indication that this is to create a parental…

Feedback on 927 version of Multy App - I have experienced multiple crashes of the app. Often right at launch. - When coming back to the app after having it in the background, it often gets stuck at "Reconnecting" - I don't like how the app becomes "grayed out" while trying to load or save information. I'd much prefer…

Unfortunate.

Feedback: - No text informing user to wait for the blue flashing light after being instructed to turn on Multy. - No test informing user they may need to power cycle their broadband modem for Multy to get an IP address. Again, this is going to cause returns and negative reviews in the US market where modems lock onto the…

I really want more than just a "thanks for your suggestion." I want confirmation this change will be made by launch. The majority of Americans use cable providers as their ISP, and locking the modem to the first MAC it sees at boot is standard practice. This simple additional bit of text will reduce the number of negative…

No. Multy should replace ones original router unless it is an integrated modem/router that can't be removed. Otherwise you end up with the situation of double-NAT and having two different WiFi networks in your home (Multy + original router). The solution to my problem, which will affect a large number of US users is: A)…
