Hi mMontana, did you every get this resolved to your satisfaction? I am now experiencing similar problems following a config conversion from a USG 40w to a Flex100w. It would appear that the AP Controller is dominant and I can't revert back to the built-in AP. Thanks

OK I have cracked it. Due to the inerface in Easy Mode, you delete the port forwarding rule at the bottom of the screen and then you are presented with the option to either "Exit" or "Next". I have been clicking "Next" (assuming Exit would not the save the change I have just made). However, it would appear that you delete…

Yes, none of the elements of the port forwarding, nor the rule will delete in Expert mode. I did have this happen before to another USG 60W and in the end, it did a factory reset and rebuilt the firewall and port forwarding rules via expert mode. I feel this should be something that Zyxel should have thought about!

Hi, thanks for your response. I have tried Safari (Mac) and Edge (Windows PC) to delete this rule, but joy with either. Can you elaborate on what you are referring to when you say "reference to that rule". I see the rule in the Easy Mode / Port Forwarding. I have tried putting the service back to the list of services on…

OK, I have managed to answer my own question - BUT IT WASN'T EASY. The whole thing went wrong when I wanted to delete the port forwarding rule that was created about 3 years ago via the Easy Setup Wizard. I could not delete it despite all my efforts. I upgraded the firmware to the latest version V4.70(AAKZ.0) but still no…

CORRECTION - I have just tried this again with Firefox on my Mac that I have set up in private browsing mode and it has actually worked. I was able to re-register the unit to myself. It could have been a caching issue with Safari on my Mac. Thanks for your help.

I am afraid that didn't work.

Hi @Zyxel_Stanley. I need to go from 4.10 to 4.65 on a USG40w. Could send me the old firmware files too please? Thanks.

Thanks for replying. Correct USG210(HQ) has 2 wan interfaces and USG20W(branch) has 1 wan interface. I am not too fussed about maintaining the VPN connection if the WAN1 fails at HQ on the USG210. It is more important that HQ remains up once it drops back to WAN2. My problem is that even when both interfaces are up at HQ…

I too get an error when I try to zip the firmware file.

I too have a client with a USG40W that started crashing randomly soon after firmware 4.30 was installed. But the crashing only happens when IDP is enabled. When it gets turned off the crashing stops immediately. There are only three client machines within the network, none are particularly heavy users and two lightly used…
