Which websites would you like to register the NAS on?

The issue has been resolved, and it is working now. However, it seems that Google has changed their policy, as the option to enable less secure apps is no longer available in Google accounts. This means the account that enabled the less secure will still work. The account does not enable the option will not work.

Make suree that the NAS is on the same IP address subnet as your network. Additionally, the NAS should have the ability to access the internet.

Not sure if the new version of macOS supports this. Since the NAS has an older version, it can use Time Machine with the older macOS version, but I'm uncertain whether the latest version is compatible.

Check if your firmware is up to date, and ensure that your NAS is not exposed to the public network. Avoid using a public IP address for your NAS to reduce the risk of attacks from the internet. It's also advisable to place the NAS behind a router or firewall for added protection against external threats.

Make sure to update to the latest firmware and verify that the Dropbox app is also up to date.

You can separate the Wi-Fi connections by giving different SSID names to the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Have PC2, PC3, and the iPad 2017 connect to the 2.4GHz SSID and see if that helps. Alternatively, you might try switching the security mode to WPA3 and see if that improves the situation.

When you press the NAS reset button, you should see the NAS run a reset script if you have a console connected. If the reset button doesn’t work, there may be an issue with the hardware button. Have you ever encountered a power outage or shut down the device using unusual steps?

If you have a backup, consider resetting the NAS to see if the issue persists. Alternatively, you can copy the files from the recycle bin using SSH. :)

The link above includes a USB upgrade key. You can refer to the README file within the link to complete the installation process.

It appears that both the new and old disks are not recognized after rebooting the NAS. This issue could occur if the user accidentally removed a disk while the NAS was powered on, which might lead to bad sectors on the hard drive. Do you ensure that the NAS is completely powered off before handling any disks. While it's…

It’s not advisable to place a NAS on a public IP address, as increasingly sophisticated attack methods are emerging. It’s much safer to position the NAS behind a security router or firewall for better protection against potential threats. Additionally, please avoid clicking on any suspicious websites or emails, as they…
