Hello @Zyxel_Melen I would highlight also that the same Organization goes via "grace period" too, also if there is a full 2Y license enabled:

Hello @Zyxel_Judy the problem followed these key moments at customer site: for some reason the TV (6-7 years old model) was unable to connect to WIFI-Master, the TV was scanning for some SSIDs without finding WIFI-Master. So I tried to add WIFI-Master manually, writing name and password, I saw the spinning wheel running…

Yes @PeterUK because LAN_IP1 is remotely managed so it is useful to route it via WAN1 to let users have daily access to some open ports from WAN area but if WAN1 is down you cannot either remote manage that old server. Making the rule LAN_IP1 to use WAN1 preferably would be better so LAN_IP1 uses WAN1 if WAN1 is UP…

Hello @Zyxel_Judy I tried to upgrade the 200H via local UI (the green arrow in Maintenance area) but it was NOT possible due to ITS firmware installed. The firewall refused to upgrade, it told me to contact a support member. It was late in the day, I wanted to test new firmware, so -before contacting Zyxel engineering…

Hello @Zyxel_Kay on that Company I used the scheme to name APs like AP_office1, AP_office2 and so on. Same thing for all the switches and other appliances up to 24 reservations. To fix that, at least for the moment, I had to place those names (all those names are accepted on Nebula) in Description field. So with this new…

Hello again @Zyxel_Judy some minutes ago I tried also the same 1.21 to 1.30P1 upgrade with a 100HP: As you can see the timestamp for "Password Changed Date" is 2024-11-14 14:36 while right now the time is 2024-11-14 14:47

Hello @Zyxel_Judy I tried also on another H series firewall. Some minutes ago I upgraded a 200H from 1.21 to 1.30P1 and the "password changed date" was modified as shown below: You can see 2024-11-14 13:47 (timestamp for upgrading) while right now the time is 2024-11-14 14:00

LAN_IP1 to WAN1 is needed because I need to open a specific port on a specific IP for external service that has to be reachable from internet

Hi @PeterUK I read what you posted, about the logic for IPv4. It seems strange to me that placing the DHCP server on the firewall itself and telling the firewall to reserve a specific IP for a specific MAC address, the firewall is not able to assign that IP address ONLY to that specific MAC address.

Hello @Zyxel_Melen I see your answer, but this option is really essential to manage a lot of critical devices. Do you plan to add the "IP-MAC Binding" option to Nebula?
-
Hello @Zyxel_Kay PM sent with access priviledges, see you soon
-
Hello @Zyxel_Melen on premise you have this table: on Nebula I see only this one: Is there another place on Nebula where to declare IP/MAC Binding like on premise?
-
Hello @Zyxel_May I would enhance this idea adding to this thread that Nebula follows this notification standard with all the hardware inside an Org. So it would be perfect to see this idea applied also to APs, switches, accessories, routers.

@StevieG I know about some lack of features in Nebula, but I'm speaking about a firewall that is a Flex100 onboarded on Nebula years ago. Setting a MAC/IP value in interfaces page and seeing the firewall that is not strict binding it with MAC/IP is something not acceptable, it is a bug not a lack of feature because the…

Hi @Zyxel_Kay Blue device is cabled to a Zyxel switch that is cabled to a Zyxel firewall: As you can see I have no IP in Nebula, but on site is perfectly working and I know its IP. The same situation for Green device: Strange fact is that the Green device seems to be a Zyxel device, but I have no idea what it is: As you…
