You may want to check the announcement this morning: [Hotfix] 2.4 GHz Radio not Functioning Issue on NWA50AX, NWA55AXE, NWA90AX — Zyxel Community Looks like a special hotfix patch has been released.

Hi @Zyxel_Nami Is this fix in v7 Patch 2 that has recently been announced and released, or will it be in a future v7 Patch 3? I can't see anything specific in the v7 Patch 2 release notes that mentions this issue being resolved. Lewis.

Hi @Zyxel_Kay, Many thanks for letting me know the firmware release notes have been posted 😀 Lewis.

@Zyxel_Judy Thanks for posting the Release Notes. A quick scan shows one addition to the fixed list since P2: 17. [eITS: 231100349,231100094] [Symptom] The AP offline after updated firmware due to certificate failed.

Update: I've recently upgraded to v6.29 Patch 2, and all is looking good with no issues 😀 so hopefully it is as stable as the date-code firmware I had been running for a month or two before hand.

Update: I've been running the firmware for well over a month, and haven't needed to reboot an access point once 🕺 I received the email from Zyxel today about the upcoming Nebula Control Center Upgrade to v17.20, and read with interest that V6.29 Patch 2 for NWA50AX, NWA55AXE, NWA90AX will be released at the same time 😀 I…

Update: I have been running the datecode firmware for just over two weeks now, and it has appeared to be faultless from my point-of-view 😀 I haven't had to reboot any of the access points and none of my devices have been kicked off the Wi-Fi network(s). I used to log in to Nebula first thing every day to check what devices…

Hi Melen, Yes, that is a correct summary. Thanks for the update on fixing the language of the 2FA page. While it is clearly a bug, I do find it quite an amusing one: today I was whisked off to Italy again 😀 Thanks, Lewis.

Today I appear to be have Chinese (according to Google Translate, so apologies if I have identified it incorrectly)

Update: Zyxel Support looked at my Org/Site, and determined that my particular problems could be addressed by a datecode firmware (DF) update they have under testing. This was applied to my units by Zyxel two days ago, and so far this has addressed the issues I was having 😀

Hi @Zyxel_Kay, I have enabled Zyxel Support access, and PM'd you the details of my org/site. Thanks, Lewis.

Hi @Zyxel_Kay, And suddenly this evening, my Amazon Echo has been kicked off the Wi-Fi with the dreaded "key handshake fail" message. It hunts around between all the APs, and even switches Bands & SSIDs (I told it to move to the IOT SSID but Amazon remembers the AP SSID, even though I told Amazon to forget my Wi-Fi…

Hi Melen, I just logged out and in again, and got the prompt in German this time! I've also shown the browser "Saved data" list, which is unnecessary (the codes keep changing) and at worst a security risk (history of previous codes & times could potentially allow prediction of future codes) Thanks, Lewis.

Hi Melen, Yes, that is the initial login screen, but if you have 2FA enabled then the next screen is this And it is this one where the cursor doesn't default to being actually in (focused) on the "Enter Code" box. So you reach for your phone and start typing the code, but it doesn't go in the box until you manually click…

Hi Kay, I have now created an "IoT" SSID (after negotiating a Wi-Fi maintenance downtime at home), which is 2.4Ghz only with no roaming assistance options enabled. Since doing this, one of my APs is spamming my SYSLOG server (about 12-15 messages a minute) with messages like this kernel: [xxxx.xxxx] illegal BA buffer size…
