I have Sonos S1 with both wired and wireless Sonos devices (9 total) set up with Zyxel switches (Combination of XGS3700, GS2210, GS1910, and GS1900). I have found the way to get them to work is to have all of the Sonos devices and any controller (mobile device or desktop computer) on the same vlan. Set up the non-wired…

@Zyxel_Kevin - Will install the patch. Do you want to review the diagnostic files I captured?
-
@PeterUK - I didn’t see a fix for my issue in the V4.73(AAPK.2) release notes.

4.30 is the latest firmware. In the US you can download it from the support section of the Zyxel website.
-
@Matt10669 - the more clients you have accessing the internet the more balanced the traffic will appear. An individual client will “stick” to a single WAN interface. Multiple clients will be balanced across WAN interfaces.
-
@businessuer - I think you can accomplish what you want by implementing Spanning Tree Protocol and removing the LAG. Just out of curiosity why do you want a master slave arrangement rather than letting the stacked switches and lacp manage the traffic?
-
@splayer7 - No, there was not a resolution. But in fairness I have not had a chance to give Zyxel remote access.

@Nebula_Melen thank you for that information. I am surprised that Zyxel employees keep referring to the XGS3700 as an "old model". It is listed on the Zyxel website as a current model, as of today it is being sold by Zyxel distributors, and it does not appear in the Zyxel published EOL devices document for the US. To any…

@Nebula_Melen - could you please point me to where in the manual it says that Anti-ARP scan is only supported in stand alone more? There are features, such as IPV6 Source Guard, where the manual clearly shows it is only supported in standalone mode. Anti-ARP scan is not one of those features as far as I can see. Why is it…

File sent by private message. FYI - private message capability in the forum does not allow diagnostic files to be attached due to file type. I had to append .txt to the file name to "trick" the system. This should probably be fixed.

@Nebula_Melen - I can not find it in the menu. The manual says it should be on the Advanced Application Menu. It does not appear there. See below:

@Zyxel_Jeff - this issue just occurred again. It seems that the DHCP server stopping is somehow related to a WAN connection dropping and coming back up. I have downloaded a diagnostic file from the USG1100. Please let me know who to send the diagnostic file to and if there is any other information I can gather to help…

@Nebula_Jonas - when we have some down time I will try and reproduce and collect logs.
-
@Nebula_Jonas - any update?

I have several GS1900 in my network. They are solid performers for the price. Under $100 for a 24 port managed switch is a good deal.
