Hi Melen, The issue I am having is I cannot create an ext-group-user 'object' on the FLEX200H. -Older FLEX200 supports 5 different types of User Objects(Limited-admin, User, Guest, ext-user, ext-group-user) -FLEX2000H seems to only support 2 types of User Objects(user, external) See screenshots below. Older FLEX200 showing…

We used some 12-inch-by-12-inch squares of black adhesive vinyl wrap which we found on amazon for this purpose, worked great! [Oracal 651 Matte Black Adhesive Craft Vinyl]

Just curious if there are any updates on this issue? I am interested in the outcome here since we use a similar setup at some of our clients: a VLAN interface for cellular backup connection, in a custom WAN-trunk with wan1=active, vlan1001=passive Just noticed this thread, I have not had a chance to upgrade/test our setup…

As a Managed Service Provider, we use virtual interfaces *very* frequently when we onboard new clients and have a need to switch their network to a new subnet. Using a virtual interface with the IP/subnet of the 'old' network allows the 'old' and 'new' subnets to coexist seamlessly for a period of time while we get all…

Can you please send me this secret command? Can you post it on the forum so that others can benefit from this information also?

When trying to up-vote this, I am getting error : "Category is not configured for ideation"

I agree this is a much-needed feature. We use virtual interfaces *very* frequently when taking over a new client (we are a MSP) to switch to a new subnet with minimal disruption to the network. Using a virtual interface with the IP of the 'old' router allows the old and new subnets to coexist seamlessly for a period of…

Tried to up-vote this, but receiving an error:"Category is not configured for ideation."Whatever that means...Anyways, I agree this is a very useful feature to track down devices on a network.

Same question here....I have a GS1900-48hp running 2.70(aaho.1).It would be nice to know why was v2.70 firmware pulled?

This can be accomplished with a policy route. The example in the screenshot below is forcing a PC ("cb-pc") which is connected to lan1 interface to go out via the secondary wan interface.

@PeterHer If you want to allow only USA IPs(for example), you can do it with 2 firewall rules. The first rule allows all USA GEO-IPs, the second rule blocks all other IPs. Rule #1:From: WANTo: LANSource: USA_GEO_IPsAction: Allow Rule #2:From: WANTo: LANSource: anyAction: Deny

@JackHenson 'Limited power mode' is a compatibility mode which is enabled when the switch or injector powering the AP does not support 30-watt 802.3at(PoE+).Without knowing how you are powering this AP, I can only guess that it is connected to a 15-watt 802.3af switch/injector.In order to get full performance, you will…

Each UDP request is going to remain in the session table for 8 hours with OP's current session timeout setting, causing the session limit to be hit. Also Chrome and some other browsers are using QUIC protocol which basically transfers all HTTP(S) data via UDP instead of TCP.
-
@kaika313 The main problem is your UDP session timeout is set to 28800 seconds(8 hours), you need to decrease this to something more reasonable such as 60-120sec. Your current setting will cause the firewall to keep an open session for *every* UDP connection for 8 hours before it times out. Each DNS request, etc is going…
