Hi @HealthByRo The Band-Select feature delays the 2.4Ghz clients response to encourage the use of 5Ghz, it does not have impact over clients that already are connecting by 5Ghz. Turning ON should help devices connect to 5Ghz, turning OFF will let the device connect as it prefers. So the answer to your question is, no…

Hi @HealthByRo The sorting issue is solved, have a try it should be good now :)

@Alcapone Were you able to check if the device is accessible by LAN? It is possible the management IP of the AP does not have internet connection. You can either reboot the device for it to get a new IP, or try scanning your local network for the device. Here's how to scan it, you can connect your laptop/PC to the same…

Hi @WebberIT Actually, it was raised before and one of the things not mentioned in the initial SSID enhancement was that connections to the default SSIDs already have sercurity improvements. The security feature will only allow the connected client have access to the web GUI and internet while others are prohibited. This…

Hello @Alcapone , In this case you can submit a ticket by the following methods, 1. Submit directly on Nebula Control Center in your Org, Help>Support request (requires professional pack) 2. Hi @HBK, Seems you've found yourself a feature enhancement! In our 5.45 version update, we have made some changes to the initial SSID, now it shows the MAC address of the AP so you'll be able to recognize which one you are connecting and configure accordingly. For more information about firmware enhancements and updates,…

As an additional info, in reality if 3 channel isn't working for you, 4 channel wouldn't be a much better option. The traffic in overlapped channels are noise for other channels, the true solution if there exists dense, overlapped channels in your network would be using 5Ghz. Still, you could try 3/4channel for your…

@HealthByRo May I know on what channel and the RSSI of your client device(or how far the distance) was when you've performed the test? And if the SSID you're using is using captive portal? There is a slight possibility that it was a performance bug, which is fixed in the latest patch. Suggested that you upgrade to the…trong [NEBULA] multiple APs using same channel in close proximity Bình luận của Zyxel_Dean Tháng 11 2018

Hey guys, I'm not able to find any source of this implementation, however, there will be a feature for users to define the sets of channels DCS can choose from, which will have more flexibility and able to counteract the current specification. Scheduled next year possibly sometime in the first half of the 2019. Dean

Updates on this thread, So the rootcause of this is that the gateway @sborgMT is using, a Kerio Control firewall, has by default IRC inspections on port 6666-6668. After disabling it allowed device to go online. It is rather strange our protocol is not using IRC though on the same port, the firewall still manages to block…

AP/Gateway listens from the client device, packets from gateway won't carry the clients hostname and other attributes in them, then is reported to NCC.trong [NEBULA] WiFi Device Descriptions - where is the source? Bình luận của Zyxel_Dean Tháng 11 2018

Hey guys, @RUnglaube is correct, the hostname/description you'll see in NCC is from DHCP packets, most of modern devices has it's hostname stored in DHCP packets on option 12.trong [NEBULA] WiFi Device Descriptions - where is the source? Bình luận của Zyxel_Dean Tháng 11 2018

Hi @HealthByRo The different sequence @WebberIT is mentioning about is main channel or primary channel. The star character ' * ' on one of the channels in the set, that means it is using that channel as primary channel and other ones are secondaries for building up the 80Mhz bandwidth. DCS measures channel utilization and…trong [NEBULA] multiple APs using same channel in close proximity Bình luận của Zyxel_Dean Tháng 11 2018
