Hi @HBK,
Seems you've found yourself a feature enhancement!
In our 5.45 version update, we have made some changes to the initial SSID, now it shows the MAC address of the AP so you'll be able to recognize which one you are connecting and configure accordingly.

Hi @WebberIT
Actually, it was raised before and one of the things not mentioned in the initial SSID enhancement was that connections to the default SSIDs already have sercurity improvements.
The security feature will only allow the connected client have access to the web GUI and internet while others are prohibited. This should prevent any unauthorized access before the APs are fully deployed.

I noticed this too recently when I'm installing a new set of devices, it's a good feature to be honest, gives me direct access to the AP I need instead of scanning for all the IPs.
However this raises one question I have in mind,
since the ssids are all open network, during deployment before the units are properly configured, anyone nearby can have access directly to the network.
Has this been raised before? I would prefer to have solid security throughout the installation process.

Wow you guys really are taking feedback seriously. Glad I'm not the only one on this idea, keep it up!
I'll give this a try on my next deployment.

Hi @Nebula_Dean ,
Thanks for your information. I think it's more convenient to configure each AP now.0
