Re: [Nebula 20.00] Port Advisor Alerts
I can confirm what @Dylan96 wrote. It seems that almost 90% cases of these alerts are generated by devices going in power saving mode. Could you improve the detection method for Cable health
→ Poor cable quality ?
Re: [USG Flex H] - Captive Portal for Tailscale VPN
Hi @Maverick87
I think setup captive portal for Tailscale is not necessary since:
- The device needs to login to Tailscale before connecting to Tailscale network.
- The captive Portal functionality is restricted to LAN-only traffic.
- On the firewall, you can find the owner/user of the connecting device.

Re: IPSec Client GINA Position
Hello Emily,
there is something else you can adjust.
There is a translation error in the German translation.
In the GINA window it calls "Geöffnet" for open and "Schließen" for close.
But it calls "Öffnen", not "Geöffnet".
"Geöffnet" means that it is already open.
The correct words are "Öffnen" and "Schließen".
Or "Verbinden" for connect and "Trennen" for disconnect.
Would be great if you could change this in the next client.
Thanks
Nebula down?
What is going on? I can't barely login on my most sites and my MSP Portal is not working at all, I had some firewalls overnight that suddenly rebooted and I can't check why.
Update: so it seems like I have 2 problems:
1: there is a provider down here in the country, but is that causing my MSP Portal having that many loading problems?
2: The firewalls I mentioned have done a firmware upgrade overnight. This setting used to be disabled for all my organizations and is now turned on? Or is Ignore upgrade only a default setting for FLEX H Series? I see my FLEX Firewalls in monitoring mode now in "Auto upgrade" mode
Re: USG FLEX H support speed test diagnostic function
In our project we have over 500 units of the USG Flex 100HP and over 200 units of the USG Flex 200, the test speed tool is something that is very valuable when we need to troubleshoot an ISP issue in our 800+ sites deployment, sadly we can only manage to do it when the site is using the USG flex 200 device.
Re: Multiple unknown clients via VPN listed inside another FW Clients list
Hi @GiuseppeR,
We are sorry to inform you that we are still coordinating the fix for this issue. Due to some changes in priorities, the timeline has shifted, and we won't be able to upload the bugfix this month as originally planned.
We'll keep you posted with any further updates as soon as we have them.
Thank you for your understanding and patience!

We are currently coordinating to prioritize the fix, and we'll update you as soon as we have further information.

Re: [Nebula 20.00] Port Advisor Alerts
Hi, @Zyxel_Tina
After a thorough investigation, it appears that this “flapping” is very often caused by power‑saving features of the device connected to the port.
In fact, in several cases, simply disabling Ethernet power saving on a PC or the standby mode on a printer was enough to prevent these alerts from being generated.
This represents an issue because it is not related to any physical problem with the connection.
The detection mechanism for this alert should therefore be reviewed; otherwise, it's useless.
