What zyxel model are you using? What firmware version are you current using? If not in the latest firmware, you can upgrade to the latest one and check it again.

As on my Windows, the internal download/upload and upload file from my phone, it works fine. Could you share some screenshot related to your problem? How much speed do you get? Are you on the latest firmware version? What client are you using?

You can factory-reset the NAS and the certificate will be renewed, don't forget to backup your config before you do this.

Have you literally factory-reset the NAS? You need to press the reset button for over 10 secs until 4 beeps on NSA310. It will clear all setting and will become DHCP client, then you can check it on router. The NAS filesystem is Linux-base, such as ext4, which is not direct-access for macOS I think. I have NAS326 and NAS540, both are updated this hotfix firmware. But I don't encountered your's problem. May I know does your NAS device set some special characters in password?

As far as I know, NBG6615 does not support IP Static/Dynamic Routing feature.

Forum user Mijzelf has collected some recovery sticks. http://zyxel.diskstation.eu/Users/Mijzelf/RescueSticks/ Please try, unzip the right one to the USB stick, put it in a back port, and reboot the NAS. Hope it can help you.

How do you test them? Do you check "Hard Disk > DiskX > S.M.A.R.T > Overview/S.M.A.R.T Info"? What is the result? Shows disk as Good or Bad? If you pull out all disks, is NAS326 still beeping? And do you able to access web interface of NAS326 at the moment?
