  • Yes I was. Through FFP etc. Ownership and read/write flags all seem ok. I can do ls -l without issues. When I try to copy files to external volume though, after copying a few files (3-4), the whole NAS hangs. Some process seems to run 100% PC and then nothing works until I restart the NAS

  • I did not. I was hoping to get by without having to enable SMB1 on Windows (Insecurities etc...)

  • The log file at /usr/local/zy-pkgs/opt/var/log eventually worked. I found that my DNS was pointed to some bad address. Once I fixed that and some permissioning issues in /opt folder, I was able to install Entware throught the Web admin page.
