Another question came up when looking at BWM. Is it necessary to set a guaranteed bandwidth or can we just set priority? The help page seems to suggest if guaranteed bandwidth is set to 0 the rule is ignored.

Thanks, the licences are expired and looks like the signatures for apps were never updated (last updated 2013). Searching for Teams only brings up TeamSpeak (Authority). Could I use the Skype options or am I better off just setting up BWM using port ranges?

Why does this happen? This has just happened to me for the 2nd time in the last few years and it's very annoying to have to reset and restore our config.

Thanks @Zyxel_Emily that worked. I still find this whole situation absurd and have not appreciated having to spend time at the weekend to be physically next to the device to resolve this. As others have suggested, this has been enough for me to avoid using Zyxel products again in future. Thanks.

I'm having this problem, but the password started with ' and then alphanumeric characters. Any ideas?

Sorry, posted an imcomplete draft. The password did not have a $ but started with ' I have startup-conf downloaded but is there a way to log in without resetting?

Should say I downloaded startup-config.conf before the update, is that the correct file to restore?

I've just had this same issue with a password reset starting with ' Is restoring from a backup the only option here?
