Secomea Sitemanager connecting issues

Hi all

We are trying to connect a secomea sitemanager 3529 on a LAN-Port on a GS1920-24 Switch. We never had problems connecting a sitemanager on different switch types. But the port on the zyxel switch suddenly goes down after connecting... Even there's no port-sec configured. Any ideas? Logs only shoes port down and up events.

Firmware on the GS1920 is V.4.3.0.a

Thanks for your help.

Best regards
Joel

    Hi @joel_lallemand,

    Welcome to Zyxel community!

Have you tried to configure port speed with force 100M full-duplex or 10M full-duplex on both secomea sitemanager 3529 and GS1920-24?

The configuration page for the port speed on GS1920 is Basic setting > Port Setup.
(You will need to access GS1920 via WebGUI)

May you also share the complete firmware version of your GS1920-24?
It can be found in the status page.
(The screenshot below is just an example in the user guide.)

  • Hi Jason

    Thanks for you feedback.

We already tried that without success.

We have installed a cisco switch between the sitemanager and the zyxel switch - now it works fine. I also assume a negotiation problem between the other two devices.

    Best regards
    Joël

    Hi @joel_lallemand,

It seems like an IOP issue between the sitemanager 3529 and GS1920.
Thanks for sharing the workaround you found here.
