Should have two SFP+ ports and 3 or more multigig ethernet ports with LAG support. Ideally would have dedicated antivirus processor so network throughput would not be affected.  License structure would be geared towards fewer connections at greater speed rather than many at slow speeds.  Should have at least 3Gbps network throughput, ideally go to 10Gbps in the future to match small business fiber and cable improvements.
