Ukraine Developer Builds Foundation for Growth with Centralized, Futureproof Network

Summary
In view of DIM Group’s active expansion, its management knew a growth-friendly network was needed. That meant a complete rebuild of the network in favor of futureproof infrastructure capable of scaling easily as needed and supporting the management of all network devices from a single interface. The company turned to project integrator ITEL to design a solution and find a vendor, with the main criterion being the ability to centrally manage all network components, from firewalls to access points to switches. This management also needed to be sufficiently flexible and deep, even for adjusting the parameters of the APs’ radio signals. Three global manufacturers took part in the tender, with Zyxel’s bid selected. “The client chose Zyxel not only because it ticked the boxes for all the necessary technical parameters,” an ITEL engineer recalls, “but also due to the fair price of its products.” Another deciding factor, the engineer adds, was the comprehensive training offered for the Nebula cloud management system. The training, installation, and network configuration altogether took only 20 workdays. Ever since the network equipment was connected to the Nebula platform, everything has worked perfectly, according to ITEL. The new infrastructure is already being scaled hassle-free with the connection of additional facilities.
