As we have no option for ceiling mount, we are considering wax510d or 610d. Or 650s but would be overkill.

As there are no radiation patterns documented as yet for these devices, we are not fully sure what to advice to our customer.

I have attached our scenario. We only have 2 mounting options available to cover the client areas. P1 = wall mounted almost halfway a long wall, and P2 wall mounted more in the corner but pointing towards the outdoor area and covering most important areas.

Clients are a mix of AX and AC capable 2x2 mobile devices. Up to 25 concurrent worst case.

Could you please advice us which AP to choose, which mode to choose (wall/ceiling) and if mounting option P1 or P2 would be advisable in this scenario ?

Thank you in advance.

    Hi @papu

The attachment is the atenna specification matrix. For your reference.
Since the space that you provided is in the sape of a rectangle and you mentioned that cannot deploy the AP as celling mount, it will be better to use WAX650S which has stmart-antenna to be good for this environment. We suggest to place the WAX650S at P1; however, the outdoor area should have another AP to service because the WiFi signal from P1 will decrease and there is an obstacle. The final deployment still should be based on real test. Just deploy WAX650S on the P1. Higher is better. Test the signal for indoor and outdoor.

    Hi @papu

If comparing 210 with 610D, the 610D output power is larger than 210. And we also sale the 610D with bundle license for NCC. 210 is not sold with bundle.

Thank you for your prompt response.

We ended up with a cheaper NWA210 as it has the same hardware/antenna specs as a 610d, and is MUCH cheaper than both 610d and 650S.
Placing it flat on top of a high wooden cabinet close to the main wall. Seems to do the job for now; measurements seem quite ok. For outdoor we will consider the nwa55 later; before the season starts.

Question: what is the use-case for a 610d if its the same hardware as a 210? Also considering those antenna patterns; almost no difference between wall/ceiling mode. Apart for those couple of dB's power-limitation on the 210 (why is that?).
