Home User - WAP/Router same network?
Options
Sorry to ask such a basic question, but I’m hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction…
I’ve installed a WAP in a home office/games room, which is working great, but is it possible to set this up on the same network as the router, i.e. so we don’t have to manually switch networks depending on signal strength?

Of course, you can.. you will need a small switch in between.
