It's no need to set up anything if your AirPlay device and the host are in the same LAN subnet. (Because your rule
LAN_to_Device allows all ports between devices and the firewall)1

I would start with:
Type
Protocol
Port
UDP
mDNS
5353
UDP
Airplay
7200 – 17210
TCP
Airplay
5000, 7000, 7100, 50000, 7200 – 17210
Allow that from ALL to ZyWall and vice versa and see what happens.

much appreciated!
Just to clarify, I don't need to open ports to go outside (LAN to WAN). To make airplay work I only need internal traffic open? I do have already LAN1 to ZyWall fully open (any)

@tesagig May I know your airplay topology? do you want streaming airplay cross VLANs? we currently do not support this scenario, thanks

no, just regular on local LAN
BTW. In general. what is the logic for opening ports between Zywall and LAN? If I don't have any rule for Zywall to LAN do I block something?

Based on my other thread: can I simply accomplish this by flipping on "app patrol - airpaly"?
