USG310 Won't Shut Down Through Web UI

I tried 2 times. This is what happens:

  • Click the Shutdown button
  • The SYS LED starts blinking and clients are disconnected from the Internet
  • After about 5 to 6 minutes the SYS LED is solid again and the clients sre again able to connect to the Internet

In the end, the Shutdown process ends up being a Reboot process.

In the past, the Shutdown button would cause the SYS LED to blink for a few minutes while services were being closed. The SYS LED would then go dark, which I understood to be the signal that it's safe to press the physical power button in the back of the unit to OFF position.

I wasn't brave enough to go after the power button without first using the UI Shutdown button. I haven't ried CLI either.

The firmware is the latest version (4.73(AAPJ.2))

Any ideas?

Sorry for the late answer. I ended up taking the courage to turn the switch off. It came back. All is good.

    Thank you.
