Connecting 3 Managed Switches together
Hi,
new member here, hi.
I have bought for my LAN a GS1900 and 2x GS1200
Now because my router has only 2 ports what is the best way to connect the switches to each other to allow traffic (VLAN etc) to not create a bottle neck.
Connecting a cable from #1 to #2 and from #1 to #3?
#1 is the main switch (the GS1900)

Sure GS1900 to router then the two GS1200 to GS1900 per port.
What you want to avoid is high traffic devices not on the same switch

thx Peter.
That high traffic not on the same switch could happen because the Main NAS will be on the GS19000
