I need the DHCP function to supply an option 12 hostname based on IP/MAC binding. I can do this on other DHCP servers but was wondering if this can be configured on my USG 50.
Need this to have DHCP resolve the hostname for PXE booted systems.
Any ideas?

To be sure here, I know how to put a text in option 12, is there a way of getting e.g. the description of the IP/MAC binding entry into the hostname text field?

Found a KB, is this what you need? However, this method seems only working on current models (e.g USG40/60/110/210/310) but not those elder ones version

No, above link tells me to set up a PXE server and bootfile. I have that working fine. My problem is that all PXE booted servers share the same hostname since they are all booting from the same image. I need the DHCP server to overwrite the hostname with option 12 like I can do with a software DHCP server, e.g. from Ubuntu. I would like to do that on the Zywall.
