USG40 Basic Setup

I have limited computer knowledge and need basic help in setting up the USG40

Went thru the basic setup and the status is as follows:

Power light - green solid

SYS light - green solid

WAN P1 - green flashing - connected to ISP modem

LAN P2 - amber flashing - connected to a linksys VPN router

LAN P3 - amber flashing - connected to a linksys router with wi-fi

LAN P4 - Connected to my computer to do the setup

Routers seems to be working but concerned about the flashing amber lights

Hi @Sam,

 

The blinking orange LED on P2-P5 on USG40/USG40W/USG20-VPN/USG20W-VPN means the device is sending/receiving packet on this port.

There is no LED description for USG40/USG40W/USG20-VPN/USG20W-VPN in the user guide.

We will revise the user guide and add LED description for small models.

Done that the best I understand before using the USG40 and before posting here.

Now I have amber lights flashing.

Please take a video of the blinking orange LED on the front panel.

Yes I have 1 flashing green and 2 flashing orange when I am not online but do have 2 routers connected P2 and P3. P2 and P3 still flashing orange when I am online via my other 2 routers.
