XS1930-12HP Questions on its SFP+ Ports

i see that the XS1930-12HP has two sfp+ ports, i have some questions:

    Hi @dewin,

    • do the ports support speeds other than 10G?

    XS1930 SFP port support 1G and 10G

    • can we use GPON SFP modules like this one PMG3000-D20B with this switch?

    For GPON, XS1930 does not support GPON transceiver. We recommended using the transceivers that are listed on the device’s datasheet to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

    Hi @dewin,

    Although we didn't list PMG3000-D20B on the datasheet list, I have helped to test XS1930-12HP with PMG3000-D20B. This combination works. Hope this information helps.

    How did you confirm this was working?

    I'm currently using two PMG3000-D20B in the XS1930-12HP SFP+ ports and get the following DDMI:

    when connected via a (confirmed working) fibre cable. I'd like to be able to assign an IP address to either SFP GPON module and connect (SSH) to it via the CLI.

    Hi @sherwoac,

    In my previous lab, my PC connected to the XS1930, which was connected to the OLT via the PMG3000-D28B could ping the internet. That is how I verified it.

    Additionally, we have a contract with ISPs. Therefore, I cannot provide any information to you about your request. If you want to make any changes, please contact your ISP.
