I would like to know about each of the following Firewall models: How many computers is suitable?
1. USG310
2. USG Flex700
3. ATP800

    Hi @Weerapong ,

    Greeting Forum, I assum you will have UTM feature and the each End Client have 3MB/s traffic. (General Condition) .

    Looking for the UTM throughput in Datasheet, Here are the mount Firewall can afford.

    ATP800: (1900/8/3) = 80

    FLEX700: (1450/8/3) = 60

    USG310: (550/8/3) = 23

    Note:

    -Test condition:

    Anti-malware (with Express mode) and IPS throughput measured using the industry standard HTTP performance test (1,460-byte HTTP packets). Testing done with multiple flows.

    -These data can be influenced by various factors, so they are provided for reference only. Additionally, we do not recommend using the USG310 as it has been EOL.

    I don't understand the numbers. What are they? Can you explain? For example: FLEX700: (1450/8/3) = 60

    what is 1450 8 3

    Hi @Weerapong ,

    Please kindly find those value in Datasheet.

    For example: ATP800 with 1900 UTM Throughput.

    so 1900bit/s divide 8 = 237.5 Btyte/s

    237.5 divide 3 (each client traffic) = 80 .

    If I have 185 computers, which model do you recommend? Currently I use USG310.

    Hi @Weerapong ,

    No matter if it's ATP800 or Flex700, both have higher performance than USG310.

    ATP is default bundled with a one-year Gold Security Pack license. If you need all UTM features, you can choose ATP series.

    If you are not quite sure if all UTM features are necessary in your network, you can chooses USG FLEX with bundled UTM Security Pack. After the 1-year UTM Security licenses are expired, you can then choose Gold Security Pack or UTM Security Pack based on your needs.

    @weerapong license packs are "optional" and provide more services (under yearly fee) that might or might not interest or be necessary to your use.
