Question:
How to block access to streaming service such as Netflix, Hulu and Disney Plus using Application Patrol on Nebula?

Answer:

To block access to streaming service such as Netflix, Hulu and Disney Plus, follow the steps to configure Application Patrol on Nebula.

  1. On Nebula, navigate to Configure > Firewall > Security Service. In Application Patrol, click the add button.
  2. Enter the streaming name to search bar and then click add button. In this example, we'd like to block "Disney Plus". Turn on the log and then click the create button.
  3. Navigate to Configure > Firewall > Security Policy and apply the Application patrol profile in the security policy, for the instance the source is the lan1 subnet.
  4. In Monitor > Firewall > Event Log, you can find the Application Patrol category and Disney Plus traffic has been rejected.
