Hi,

i have a zyxel XMG1915-10EP.
Now i want to get the current PoE consumption for each Port.

1.3.6.1.2.1.105.1.3.1.1.4.1 show the Power of all Ports
1.3.6.1.2.1.105.1.3.1.1.2.1 show the Total Power (130W for me)
1.3.6.1.2.1.105.1.3.1.1.5.1 remain power of the switch.

Now i search for the OID for Port 1-8 where i can read.
On my d-link i have found it (1.3.6.1.4.1.171.11.153.1000.22.1.1.9.1) but here i cant find any. i have test it with snmp walk to get all oid but i cant find any to match to my PoE values.

Have anyone the right oid?
Thanks and regards
Dave

    Hi @DaveBr,

XMG1915 is a smart-managed switch. It does not feature a special MIB to get the PoE consumption for a specified port.

Thanks for your bad information. i hope this will be planned ;-)

on my old d-link switch for 100$ it works like a charme
    now i use
echo -e "show pwr" | sshpass -p password ssh admin@ip.address
and "grep" the output in my requested format.

I get a tons (3613 lines of snmp data) of information over snmp, but this important information is not implemented

    Regards Dave

    Hi @DaveBr,

We appreciate your input. We have been primarily focusing on cloud-based features for the past few years. We will evaluate your valuable input. By the way, I would like to share with you that the Nebula control center can check per port PoE consumption.

You may give it a try if you are interested. This function, which is a free function, can be checked in Menu > Configure > Switches > Switch ports.

    Hi Melen,

special thanks that you remind my problem and try find a solution for my question.
The "problem" is, in my own network, no one device became internet without my permission and if it necessary for working.
All my devices switch, cam, access point and so one, have never a internet connection. all management software must run local and updates will be initiated from me and only from me.
i use cacti for data collection and alert messages.

i think, is not a nuclear science to implement this feature in the switch os ;-) in the future?

    Thanks and best regards
    dave
