Hi have this problem with WDS

NWA1123-AC-HD on V6.25(ABIN.9)

USG60W as Controller V4.73(AAKZ.2)
WAX510D as root AP on 6.70(ABTF.2)C0
Force Overwrite VLAN Config
Management VLAN ID 4091
uncheck As Native VLAN

SSID for VLAN 4093 to the Repeater > WAX510D > USG60W

Problem happens with uptime for WAX510D where I client (my phone) connect to the given SSID to the Repeater that can not get a IP when I packet capture VLAN 4093 on USG60W I see DHCP discover then offer but the offer never makes it back to client when I reboot WAX510D two way traffic works again

    Hi @PeterUK ,

Generally, it is not possible to create a mesh network between standalone APs and APC-managed APs because standalone APs use the WDS standard, while APC-managed APs operate on the ZyMesh standard. These are different mesh technologies.

Could you clarify how you confirmed that the NWA1123AC-HD becomes a repeater AP after disconnecting the cable from the NWA123AC-HD? Is there any misunderstanding here?

If you are certain that a mesh network has been established in your scenario, please replicate the setup and provide us with the following information:

    • Configuration files for both the USG60W and NWA1123AC-HD.
    • Diagnostic files for both the USG60W and NWA1123AC-HD.
    • Packet captures for VLAN 4093 on the USG60W and the wireless packets from the NWA1123AC-HD.

With this complete information, we will be better equipped to assist you.

The NWA1123-AC-HD just has PoE+ no data cable to it

It will take some days before it happens again I think the problem is with the WAX510D as managed root due to a firmware update.

The setup works well when it works so I send you the setup

also the setup was part of a old firmware fix in
