WAX620D controlled by USG40 - possible?

Hello

I am having a hard time registering a WAX620D on a USG40 as controller. The USG40 sees the WX620D and I can add it to the controlled group.

However, the icon stays gray and I cannot manage the accesspoint.

Any ideas?

The APC version of USG 40's latest firmware(V4.73(AALA.1)C0) is APC3.60. In this APC version, the firewall only supports these AP models:

NWA3160-N, NWA3550-N, NWA3560-N, NWA5160N, NWA5550-N, NWA5560-N, NWA5121-NI, NWA5123-NI, NWA5121-N, NWA5301-NJ, NWA5123-AC, WAC5302D-S, WAC6103D-I, WAC6502D-E, WAC6502D-S, WAC6503D-S, WAC6553D-E, WAC6552D-S, NWA5123-AC-HD, WAC6303D-S, WAX650S, WAX510D, WAX610D, WAC500, WAC500H, WAC5302D-Sv2

In addition, USG 40 is an end-of-life model. If you want the WAX620D controlled by a firewall, you may consider migrating to USG FLEX 100.

It is only supported on newer USG models not sure if thats just the firmware update only.

when you add AP to USG you manage it by USG

Have you allowed from LAN to zywall UDP ports 2018, 5246
