Download library checksum

Hello everyone,

went online to download a firmware and I noticed that the declared SHA is incorrect:

As you can see there is SHA2 while it should be displayed SHA256

Not sure what the point of the checksum is for FLEX H as you can't download release firmware and only by FLEX H or testing firmware

yes ATP you can download firmware for maybe SHA2 is just short for SHA256?

This is not related to 200H, it is related to firmware general availability.

I went on that webpage (download library), when downloading firmware for ATP800 I saw that you could verify the HASH. Very nice.

Anyway it could be better to write SHA256 because SHA2 includes SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-384 and SHA-512. Considering it a typo I suggested a very slight modification

I agree that displaying the correct algorithm for the firmware checksum would be beneficial. I have forwarded your concern to the relevant team.

They will address the issue of the firmware checksum display on our Download Library in a future update. I will keep you informed of any progress by posting updates in this thread.

Update:

We will change the checksum format from SHA2 to SHA2-256 in the future.
