Hi folks,

since I converted an existing USG110 config with the zyxel converter to the USG Flex 500 enviornment I am not able to upload the file to the new USG. The USG Flex is on default factory setting with only the admin password changed. P2 and P4 is connected as given from the Quick installation guide.

My steps:

  • download the startup-config from the USG110 (not encrypted)
  • converted that one with the online tool of Zyxel
  • rename it to "new-startup-config.conf" to avoid direkt apply
  • opened an ftp to the USG Flex 500
  • "cd conf"
  • set the transfer to "BIN"
  • put command brings me "226 unknown reason" without uploading anything

Any ideas what to do?

    Hi @Charly_brown ,

Regarding your failed conversion from USG110 to USG FLEX 500, we believe the issue may be related to a version compatibility gap in V4.60.

We have manually converted the configuration file to the latest version and sent for you. Please check the Community inbox to get the configuration file.

Hi @Zyxel_Judy , even if I removed the initial lines of the config file FTP does not provide any response and the upload via the web gui of the USG Flex does not upload the file anyway. No response or error messgae as well. The upload itself is my issue and not applying the stuff with error cleansing.
