With the Nebula 18.30 update, users can now configure ports and interfaces for USG FLEX H Series firewalls directly on Nebula Control Center (NCC).

New Enhancements in Nebula 18.30:

  • Users can create, edit, and manage interfaces from NCC.
  • Supported Interface Roles:
    • External – Typically used for WAN connections.
    • Internal – Used for LAN or trusted network segments.
    • General – Flexible configuration for various networking needs.
  • Supported Interface Types:
    • Ethernet – Physical network interfaces.
    • VLAN – Virtual LAN interfaces for network segmentation.
    • Bridge – Grouping multiple interfaces together.
    • VTI (Virtual Tunnel Interface) – Monitor-only.

Configuration Path in NCC:Site-wide > Configure > Firewall > Port & Interface

1. Enable or Disable Interfaces

  • Users can quickly toggle an interface on or off via NCC.

2. Managing Interfaces

  • Users can create and edit external / internal / general interfaces directly from NCC.
  • The available settings and configuration columns may vary depending on the selected interface type.

The port and interface management feature in Nebula 18.30 allows seamless configuration of USG FLEX H Series firewalls via NCC, providing centralized management.
