Firmware Update on older GS1900-24

I have to support an older switch GS1900-24 with the serial number S162L02000xxx and would like to install the latest firmware on it. Are the latest versions (2.9) compatible at all? What else is recommended?

Your GS1900-24 with serial number S162L02000xxx is compatible with version 2.9.

Note: If you are unable to log in to the GS1900-24 with version 2.90 using your password, please try the default password: 1234.
