Error CLI Number:4-NXC5500

Hi Community,

Starting this week, i have been having an issue with NXC5500. The controller is not onboarding WAX655E APs. They are reachable via web access, responding to pings, etc. but offline in NXC. An issue is, every time i am working on the controller in APs management, i get an error-as shown in the image every time i refresh.

I looks like there is no firmware available for these controllers in store.

FMW version: V6.10(AAOS.2)/V1.05

Any suggestions?

Hi @emuda,

NXC5500 is an EOL device, which latest firmware version doesn't support WAX655E.

To manage your WAX655E centralized, we recommend trying the Nebula control center.

Regarding the error message, you seem to have entered an additional space for the device's information. Please check if you entered the device's information correctly.

thanks for response. Based on my location, i am afraid cloud won't work with us as we do not have reliable internet all the time and would be hard to adopt Nebula cloud and besides, all APs are in the same location.

Any other suggestions?

Can Zyxel allow Hybrid?

Thanks for the info. Another method is using a Zyxel firewall to act as an AP controller.

Zyxel AP doesn't support Hybrid mode, it can only run in one mode. Nebula, controller, or standalone mode.
