USG FLEX 100AX vs 100W: SFP the basic difference?

I downloaded the Specification and noticed 100AX has WIFI-6 support but 100W has SFP port.

100W has 3 antennas (like USG-20W-VPPN) vs AX with only 2.

I seem to be missing the big picture. I just purchased a couple of 100AX units, but I want to understand the reasons someone would chose 100W over 10AX.

Thanks!

    Hi @SierraTech,

    This question is strange because the generation dates of the two models are different. 100W is earlier than 100AX. When 100AX came out, the 100W was unavailable.

    @Zyxel_Melen

    Thanks for reply.

    The Zyxel datasheet does not reveal generation dates, just side-by-side comparison between:

    USG5 FLEX100, USG FLEX100AX, and USG FLEX100W

    Zyxel website indeed has USG100W on sale. Your response explains why it's not readily available, except through your website.

    Many of us don't always have the time to research the history of certain models we haven't deployed previously. I understand the USG FLEX 50W has been discontinued, and forum has been helpful for me to order two new routers. Our time is short to keep up with technology generational changes, when we are trying to meet and protect client network expectations. Zyxel is the only router we deploy, due to the support we are able to receive.
