Hi

I have a XGS1250-12 bought in April 2024 so still under warrenty. Its fully populated with a mix of 1Gb/s, 2.5Gb/s & 10Gb/s including a SFP+ with a 10 Gb/s connection.

I use it in my study with the following devices

10 Gb/s connections going to NAS devices and my PC.

2.5 Gb/s going to Mac Mini & Intel NUC Server via a USB 2.5Gb

The remaining 1 Gb to printers, scanner, sky box etc.

We had a power cut last week and both ports 9 & 10 have stopped working, 11 & 12 are OK as is 1 to 8, just 9 & 10 have failed.

I have power cycled the switch, checked port settings, changed them and forced a reboot, after reading other peoples posts who have had the same problem I have plugged a cable from one of the working 1 Gb/s port into 9 & 10, with no luck.

Any ideas what I can try next?

Thanks

Adam

    Hi @AdamBrighton ,

Could you loop ports 9 and 10 to another port to check if they come up? If they don't work, please use this link to contact our local support directly for RMA assistance.

    Hi

Thanks for the reply, Port 9 came back to life, but 10 seems dead.

I will check out the RMA link.

    Regards

    Adam
