HI,
I have a couple oldies

NAP303 and NWA1123

And a USG lite 60AX

This is for a client based wirelles network.
so I can make the open wifi go to vlan 2 and make sure they get the IPrange there

but the 192.168.x.x range is limited to 240 address ( ok 254)

But I need more and the lease on the dhcp is min 1 day.

Can i use the 172.10.x.x range ? and will that be accepted and can you tell me how

Or can I assign more vlan id s to that open network in the dashboard just one is accepted

Best regards,

JC

    Hi @_JC_

No, the 172.10.x.x range is not a private IP address range. You can use 172.16.X.X. If you want to increase the DHCP pool size, please change your subnet mask from /24 to /23 or /22 first. Once you have changed this, you can increase the DHCP pool size.

You could have still used 192.168.x.x.

    255.255.254.0 would give you 192.168.0.x thru 192.168.1.254

    255.255.252.0 would give you 192.168.0.x thru 192.168.3.254
