With the release of Nebula 19.00, H Series firewalls now support application usage visibility directly from the Nebula Control Center (NCC) dashboard. This enhancement gives network administrators real-time insights into what applications are consuming network bandwidth and which clients are generating the most traffic.

Application Usage – At a Glance

The Application Usage widget is now available for H Series devices on the Nebula dashboard. This powerful feature lets administrators:

• View top applications by bandwidth usage
• Identify active clients per application
• Monitor network trends by usage type

Clicking on any application segment in the dashboard redirects to the detailed usage view, where deeper client-level data is available.

How It Works

Step-by-Step Overview:

1. Open Nebula Dashboard for your H Series firewall.
2. Locate the “Application Usage” widget.
3. Click a segment of the ring chart (e.g., Zoom, YouTube, Office365).
4. You’ll be redirected to the Application Usage page showing:
   • Application traffic stats
   • Bandwidth graphs
   • Top usage breakdowns
5. Click on a MAC address or client name to open the Client Details page, where:
   • Traffic history
   • Connection timeline
   • Interface information is shown
