Hi @masterke ,

Could you please let us know what device is connected to switch port 12 - is it a fiber modem or a router?
Additionally, please share either the XGS1250-12's configuration file or a screenshot of its VLAN configuration screen.

Are you able to access the internet with your router in this setup?

in Belgium we call it a fiber modem, it is the little box that have a fiber cable in and a UTP cable out that now in my router in the 10G port is put in, but that router Asus Rog Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro give me not the 8500 speed I get with fiber, so I want the fiber on my switch, in de SPF+ UTP option on port12,
i have only to put Vlan10 in the router and I get my ip adres and internet, that is what I also want on my switch.
is this switch only works with a router connection or an fiber modem where the fiber cable is in the modem like a Fritzbox.
I try In the switch to make a Vlan10 under the Vlan1 and in the Vlan10 I use the orange option to make that port active on the Vlan1 I make the port 12 grey so it don't use the Vlan1 and only Vlan10.
am I doing the right thing to get internet on the switch from the UTP kabel that comes from the fiber box that hangs on my wall where the fiber cable come in and a UTP cable come out to my router now.
now I have a max of 2500/2500 because I have connect an UTP cable from the 2,5G port on the router to the switch, that works fine, but I want the speed of my fiber 8500/2500.
I hope you understand me, I speak not good English, but I do my best to find a solution here.
thanks for the reaction.

HI @masterke ,
Based on your description, we understand your testing and deployment process as follows:
- Initially (Scenario 1): You used your Asus router but were unable to achieve the 8500 Mbps speed.
- Subsequently (Scenario 2): You implemented a configuration where your client (as laptop) connected to switch, achieved 2500/2500 Mbps speeds.
- Currently (Scenario 3): You'd like to configure your switch (without the Asus router) to your client (as laptop) connected to switch obtain an IP address, have internet connectivity, and achieve 8500/2500 Mbps speeds - You need our support for this scenario.
Please correct us if our understanding of these scenarios is inaccurate.
If we are on the same page, please check whether your XGS1250-12 switch's management VLAN ID is configured as 10. If this is correctly set to 10 but the issue still recurs, please share screenshots of the following configuration pages: System, VLAN, Management

Yes I would scenario 3 to been solved Here to have to full use of my internet speed with fiber,
So i go with the utp from ONT to port 12 with Vlan10 and PVID10, and in port 10 I put the utp to the pc that have a 10G internet Card with the same Vlan and VPID on the port for the pc.
But I get no internet 😔

You likely only get one WAN IP so can't use two different MAC at the same time your router and PC its likely your ISP has locked on to the MAC used by your router so if you copy that MAC to PC it should connect.

Hi @masterke ,
Please confirm whether your configuration matches ours. If it does and the issue persists, please contact your ISP to check if you are experiencing the same issue that PeterUK shared.
