Switch GS1915 8p POE no longer works correctly

Hello everyone,

I had configured the switch via the WebGUI. When I added the switch in Nebula Cloud, I noticed that the switch was restarted. Probably the default configuration was taken from Nebula Cloud.

The problem is that now my switch does not get an IP from the DHCP. Neither from the router nor from the firewall (I have tried both).

I have done a restore and a reset, but nothing has worked. How can I configure the switch again?

As for the questions you have encountered, there are two key points I want to clarify with you.

First, I want to confirm how your switch connects to the DHCP server and please provide a detailed topology diagram for me. What’s more, is your switch directly connected to the DHCP server?

If there's another switch between your switch and the DHCP server, try connecting your switch directly to the DHCP server. If direct connection allows the switch to obtain an IP via DHCP, then the intermediate switch has VLAN configuration issue.

Second, I want to clarify the Nebula Cloud configuration behavior. When a local device joins an NCC site, all configuration settings except the device's management VLAN and IP address are reset to default factory setting. Therefore, if you previously configured VLANs on the device while it was managed locally, and these VLAN configurations may be necessary for the device to go online, these VLAN settings will be erased when the device joins the NCC site. This configuration reset may explain why your device initially came online but then went offline after being added to NCC.
