Most of cases are because the uplink signal strength is less than -65 dBm. To fix this issue, please try:
- To avoid mesh repeater choosing wrong uplink AP, please fix your uplink AP in smart mesh setting.
- Please disable down link for the devices that is two hops to the mesh root AP.
- Please try to enlarge your radio output for the mesh connection band to have better signal strength.
- If the above is less help, which means your signal strength is still lower than -65 dBm, to have better throughput for the Wi-Fi clients, please consider using cable connection as uplink.
- If your AP is Wi-Fi 7 model, you may try smart mesh with MLO to have redundancy and higher uplink throughput.
