Mamamia Alternative Music Club, a renowned destination for alternative music in Italy, needed a reliable and secure network to support its operations and guests across its expansive venue of over 10,000 m². In collaboration with Esolution Srl, which specializes in networking and cybersecurity, the club deployed an advanced Nebula solution powered by Zyxel Networks. The new infrastructure integrates high-performance WiFi access points, a robust security firewall, and backup connectivity via the 4G LTE-A indoor router. This transformation ensures seamless guest connectivity, enhanced operational efficiency, strengthened security, and lower maintenance costs through centralized management. With this upgrade, Mamamia Alternative Music Club has set a new standard for networking in the entertainment industry, providing a modern, secure, and uninterrupted experience for guests and staff.

Challenges

Mamamia Alternative Music Club needed a reliable and high-performance network to support its daily operations and the guests attending events. Covering an expansive 10,000 m² outdoor and indoor area, the club faced challenges in providing seamless WiFi coverage for staff operations, such as cash registers and digital transactions, while also ensuring a smooth internet experience for visitors, many of whom were international guests expecting stable connectivity. Additionally, the venue required a secure and efficient networking system to manage its IP surveillance cameras, which was crucial for maintaining safety across the premises. A further concern was network reliability-any failure in the primary internet connection could disrupt operations, making a backup solution essential to ensure continuous service.

Solutions

To address these challenges, Esolution Srl implemented a state-of-the-art network solution using Zyxel Networks' advanced technologies. High-performance NWA110AX and WAX655E access points were deployed to provide seamless WiFi coverage throughout the venue, ensuring guests and staff enjoyed uninterrupted connectivity. To safeguard the network from potential threats, a USG FLEX 100H firewall was installed, offering robust security for operational and guest internet access. GS1920-8HPv2 switches further optimized network efficiency by enhancing data traffic management. Recognizing the importance of business continuity, the LTE3301-PLUS 4G LTE-A Indoor Router was set up as a backup connection to keep operations running smoothly in case of primary network disruptions. The entire system was centrally managed via the Zyxel Networks' Nebula cloud platform, allowing for simplified monitoring, maintenance, and remote troubleshooting.

The improved WiFi coverage ensures seamless operations, from digital transactions to event coordination. Robust security measures and an optimized surveillance system create a safer environment. Backup connectivity guarantees business continuity, preventing disruptions even during service failures. Additionally, the Nebula cloud platform significantly reduces maintenance efforts and costs through centralized, remote network management.
