Question:
I just connected a device to my switch port, but the port status on Nebula Control Center (NCC) has not updated. Why is this happening?

Answer:
This behavior is expected. The port status displayed on NCC is not updated in real-time. Instead, it relies on periodic synchronization between the switch and NCC.

  • The average synchronization (RPC) interval is about 3–5 minutes.
  • During this interval, newly connected devices or port activity may not immediately appear on the NCC dashboard.
  • After synchronization completes, the NCC page will display the updated port status.

Tip:
If you require instant verification of port status, you can log in to the switch’s local web GUI or use CLI commands to check live status directly on the device.
