Zyxel’s Secure Reporter now supports the Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) subscription model, offering customers greater flexibility in managing their security service licenses.

What’s New?

Previously, Secure Reporter only displayed information for license-based subscriptions (fixed-term licenses with expiration dates). With firmware 1.35 and the latest Secure Reporter update, the platform now recognizes Pay-As-You-Go subscriptions and displays them differently across dashboards and license pages.

How PAYG Subscriptions Appear

  1. Secure Reporter Dashboard
  • License-based: Shows the remaining time limit
  • PAYG: Shows “Active” instead of time-based expiration

2. Organization and Device Inventory (Secure Reporter Portal)

  • License-based: Displays expiration dates for each device
  • PAYG: Displays only “Active” status

3. Device Information > License Information (Secure Reporter)

  • License-based: Shows remaining days or date
  • PAYG: Shows “Active” status

4. Firewall Web GUI > License Page

  • License-based: Displays the license’s official expiration date
  • PAYG: Always displays the end of the current month as the expiration date
    • This reflects the PAYG billing cycle, as payments are processed monthly
