Hi all,

I'm trying to setup an IKEv2 IPSec client-to-server (remote access) VPN. Connecting fails after Phase 1 and I would like to troubleshoot it better.

The logs in de GUI don't tell me much and setting VPN or IPSec to "debug" in Log & Report > Log Settings > first entry (activated) doesn't seem to do anything.

Is there a way to debug this connection and see where/why it fails on the USG side?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hi @SQT_NL

    If the connection failed in phase 1, you will need to check the error message on your PC first. May I know if it is a Windows PC? If the network of this remote PC restricts the VPN service port?

    Additionally, it is recommended to use setup wizard to configure IKEv2 IPSec remote VPN since it will automatically setup correct proposal, and you can download the script in the final step (step 4).
